Expenses
Record marketing, portal ads, referral fees and running costs, in general or on a specific deal, so you see your real net.
Commission alone doesn't tell you what you earned. Expenses let you record what you spent, either on a specific deal (like a referral fee or an ad for the unit) or on running the company, so the Net in the Overview is real.

Deal
Optional: if the expense belongs to a specific deal, pick it; otherwise leave it as a General expense. An expense linked to a deal uses the deal's currency and is subtracted from Net from this deal.

How net is calculated
- Net from this deal = commission collected on the deal minus its expenses.
- Net in the Overview = commission collected in the period minus all expenses in the period (general and on deals).
If you delete a deal
Its expenses aren't deleted: they stay in Expenses as general expenses.
