Deals & commissions

Commissions

Set your commission on each deal as a percentage or fixed amount, split it with the closing agent, track what's collected and overdue, and print a commission statement.

Commission is your money from a deal. PropDrop calculates it, splits it between the company and the closing agent, tracks how much is collected and how much is left, and flags what's overdue.

Who can do this: owner and managers. Plans: Growth, Pro and the free trial.

Set the commission on a deal

On the deal page, in Price & commission:

Choose how commission works

  • Percentage: enter the Commission % and the commission is calculated from the final price ("Commission: …"). If the deal is linked to a listing with a Commission (%), the rate is filled in for you.
  • Fixed amount: enter the Commission amount yourself.

Agent share

Pick the Closing agent from your team and enter the Agent share % of the commission. You'll see "Agent share: …". (Choose the agent first.)

Commission due date

When the commission should be collected. Used to track what's overdue.

Example: an apartment at 4,000,000 EGP with 2.5% commission = 100,000. A 20% agent share = 20,000, and the Company share = 80,000.

  • Agent commissions: per agent in the period: deals, volume, commission, their share and collected. Deals with no agent show as No agent. Export to CSV on Pro.

Commission statement

On a deal, click Commission statement: a print-ready page with your company name, logo and licence number, showing the statement number, date and due date, the buyer or tenant and the other party, the unit and its code, final price and dates, a "Brokerage commission: …% of …" line, what's been received and the balance due, and the commission and other payments. Click Print, or save it as a PDF from your browser and send it to the client or developer.

No taxes

This is a commission statement, not a tax invoice. PropDrop doesn't calculate any tax.
